With versatile experience over the years, CG has developed a highly standardized range of motors dedicated specifically to the Re-rolling mill industry. Re-rolling mill duty motors are used to drive the re-rolling mill where hot steel billets are rolled in to RODS, FLAT BARS, RAILS, CHANNELS, ANGLES and SHEETS etc. The working of these mills is under demanding conditions of widely fluctuating loads and sudden overloads lasting for few seconds. We are manufacturing Re-rolling mill duty induction motors that are compact and robust. The simple construction of these motors requires minimal attention and provides greater reliability.

  • Frame KMR 450S TO KMR 560LX
  • Suitable for 3 phase, 415 volts 10% and 50Hz 5%, the CG large re-rolling mill duty induction motors are equipped with IP23 (IEC: 34-5, IIC0A1, IEC: 34-6)
  • Class F insulated stator and rotor winding (temperature index 155c) suitable for 45c ambient with temperature rise restricted to 75c by resistance (class B rise)
  • Suitable for 125% class IV overload for 2 hours typifying re-rolling mill duty
  • All performance figures are subjected to tolerances as per IS: 325/ IEC: 60034-1
